* Heraclitus was an ancient Greek philosopher. He is known for his belief that “everything flows” (“ta panta rhei” in Greek). He famously said: “You cannot step into the same river twice” pointing out that the river, and, by extension, the world is constantly changing. The water, the current, the rocks, even the person stepping in change constantly.
